Software tourism is when people visit a new tool, look around, and go back to their old way of working. They watch a demo or sit through a course, take a mental photograph, and change nothing on Monday. It is a common reason AI pilots stall inside organisations.
The pattern is familiar. A tool is bought, a launch is held, dashboards light up for a week, and then usage drifts back to zero. Nothing in anyone's real workflow actually changed.
